Pudding Love: Budino in Philly Inquirer

As a demonstration, my waitress at Barbuzzo flashed me her "budino eyes" - a pouty look of puppy-dog desire triggered by the mention of that famed pudding. I knew then: this decadent butterscotch pudding, with its chocolate cookie-crumb bottom, salted caramel lid, and pouf of whipped cream, is the ultimate Valentine prize. You don't even need to grovel for a reservation, as Barbuzzo is selling mason jars of budinos in double-packs to go at Verde, their shop next door. Our Salted Caramel Budino with a dark chocolate crust, vanilla bean caramel and sea salt is one of the most delicious things we've ever eaten.
